view of beauty

PORTRAIT(S)
Eyes take turns
Making turns
To take a glimpse
Of the miss.

Dark iris of her eye
Hangs high
On the roof of her eye.

Her body bears no flaw,
Has a nice straight flow
Without taking turns
And making some bends.

Some are not straight
They fascinate,
They call delight.

Beauty speaks loud
To a big crowd,
It’s not for the coward

But makes one proud.

simple poem

PERFECT
 Beautiful Love
Loved love
Desired desirable love
Perfect imperfect love.

Beauty is mortal
It is not eternal,
Like all things natural
It is seasonal.

Up and down
The sun goes,
Earth forever moves
Searching for what nobody knows.

In and out comes breath,

Such is life here on earth.

WRITING IN THE DARK
Without luck
Needing a spark,
In the dark I write
Hoping to get it right.

Watching the night
I need the light,
Writing in the dark
I need the buck.

Legs crossed
Eyes closed,
Still I have sight
Might and the zeal.

Writing in the dark,

Work of ideal ordeals.

NATURE’S BEST
Nature’s best,
Men’s first friend,
Friend with beauty made.
A back well made
Pulls eyes back.
What else can lack
From such looks?
What else from earth
And on earth
Can attract and affect
Men’s attention and decision?
Lost are fruits from trees,
Beauty does not cease.

ATTRACTIVE
[SONNET]
Womanly in all senses she is,
Soft-spoken in all voices
A flower of all names
Displaying proudly its petals.

Eyes contend in contest
To land in softest spot
Without any notice,
But without malice.

Soft hands hang like guards
On her curvy sides,
As if they can by thieves
 Be harmed.

Like bullies, she teases
Though friendly she is.

CRY NOT HEART

You cry a lot when you’re hurt
But cry not heart,
When you get burnt
A lesson is to be learnt.
Ugly; thing may get
But never regret
And get upset,
Laugh instead.
Don’t resent,
Reject resent for love
For you know love.
Cry not heart,
Fight brave heart
 And have delight
 My heart
Love heart love,
For love you've.

the way you are

DARK AND PROUD
A true human being
Pure and real
From beginning
Rare and fair
She stands out,
Like the sun from the moon,
Like noon from night,
Like summer from winter
Her cheeks have a dent,
They have no fake fix.
Well drawn are her lips,
They show no paint.
Slowly, without hurry
She walks and talks,
Walking freely
Free of any sling swings.
Dark like a tree’s bark
But not a single mark

Shows alteration to her complexion.

CELEBRATION
Woeful celebration!
Celebrating the undedicated dad,
A dead man
Though breathing.

Mournful, scornful celebration!
Celebrating cowards
Cowards who stay for the night
But flee when ropes get tight.

Celebration with hesitation,
Without admiration for satisfaction seekers
Who reject commitment
Why let people be fooled

By being with a big name called,
When you are just not prepared?

Admirer

BEAUTIFUL BEING
Witnessed by all,
Missed by none,
Too beautiful in all
To be left by boys alone.

Like a good book,
Her I wish to hold
And have a lasting look
At invaluable gold.

She was made to be admired,
Such beauty can’t be smeared
By disturbances of sadness
Or turbulences of loneliness.

Who said beauty lies on the inside?
It dwells like paint on the outside,
Visible from all sides.

Beautiful is a cliché,
But her beauty embellishes cliché
With relevant meaning.

Ndebele poem

                                               UMHLABA
Abukh’ubuhle
Obufihlelw’ilihlo
Laph’emhlabeni
Lasemaphutshweni.

Bona wena Lihlo,
Zona zinhle zona
Zonk’ezomhlaba
Kodwa ziyahlaba.

Hamba We! Nyawo
Ugadlulis’umango,
Bona ungakhubeki
Njalo ungalahleki.

Ungalahl’indlela,
Sandla bambelela
Ungatshi khudumala
Hatshi amanyala.

Muhl’uMhlaba

Kodwa mubi!

                      GARDEN

A garden without flowers,
A flowerless garden
A garden without guards
But flaws.

A garden without laws,
Without a rose,
Misery shows
And poverty grows.

A garden without beauty,
Beauty grieves,
Ugliness lives,
Lives lack beauty.

Music plays
And dies,
Nobody dances
Everybody watches.

Silently and distantly I stare
But the garden isn't fair.

INTRODUCTION

                                     ABOUT THE WRITER.

HIE, if you are reading this i guess you want to find out what this "Writer's

dream" is about and and who the author/writer is. I'll begin by saying my

name, my name is Arnold.

I'm a non-fiction writer;a confessional and romantic poet.

I'm a conventional-writer who loves experimenting

with different poetic devices. My greatest inspiration

comes from my own life( i'm confessional) because i believe

to tell a story you ought to have a story to tell; a story which

is your own. Through this blog i hope to share my passion of writing

with you, whoever might be reading this "Witer's dream" blog, which depicts

my life as a teenager.
