SEE WHAT I SEE
You are a bird woman
You can land wherever woman
You want to land,
On castles or on fine sand.
Cold earth rain on you falls
But intact It leaves you,
Undamaged
Like paintings on rocks.
Like men you have flaws
But have a good flaw,
A good breakage
Like the cracked rind of ripe pomegranate.
Like a voice from a choir
You stand out,
Outstanding like a good drummer,
Like a superior from subordinates.
See the affection in my hands
Which labours without exhaustion
