PAINED

                                  LET THE DEAD SAY BYE

GONE are the dead and done 

with un-certainities of the world.

THUS let them who have have gone 

ahead say bye to us.

THEY have crossed the waves

of life,

but We are left to labour

in each and every hour 

on the clock carrying the heaviness

of our individual crosses.

LET the dead who have been freed 

and from living have retired

say bye to us.

NO longer will they feel pain 

on the spine

nor sleeplessness but forever they will sleep,

Neither will they feel loss

or agony,

let it be the dead who say bye.


Against affliction, immunity in them lies

and tears are in their eyes

strangers.

LET the dead say bye

for in a peaceful place their bodies lie.
