PAINED
LET THE DEAD SAY BYE
GONE are the dead and done
with un-certainities of the world.
THUS let them who have have gone
ahead say bye to us.
THEY have crossed the waves
of life,
but We are left to labour
in each and every hour
on the clock carrying the heaviness
of our individual crosses.
LET the dead who have been freed
and from living have retired
say bye to us.
NO longer will they feel pain
on the spine
nor sleeplessness but forever they will sleep,
Neither will they feel loss
or agony,
let it be the dead who say bye.
Against affliction, immunity in them lies
and tears are in their eyes
strangers.
LET the dead say bye
for in a peaceful place their bodies lie.

PAINFUL WORLD
AWAY FROM THE WORLD
(A LAMENT POEM)
When i'm by the course sands
of earth buried and concealed;
Make not noices loud
which will make me awake to a world
of thick sorrow and intense worry
Full of hunger and anger,of disease
and unease.
Close my eyes and make me not see
the laughing faces of fell-figures of the world;
who with other people's dreams and lives
walk away;leaving pity and corpses
and not a way for others.
When I'm in the bed of the underworld
let not be attempts for me to be raised
for cruel is the world and bad;
to people uncruel and unevil.
Console women by-labour hurt
and crying children so as not to cry
but let the dying escape in peace
from this place;
The world is a sorrowful place
and hurtful without solace.
KABAPHELI
BENGITHI
(NDEBELE POEM)
Bengithi wonke ngiwabonile
Amahle kanti angibonanga,
angiwaphutshanga ngobunengi langobuhle bawo
ezweni labantu.
Wona kawapheli awomhlaba,
kuphela amadoda esehlahlwa yibubi bomhlaba.
Bengithi wonke ngiyawazi!
Alempala emihle kanti angazi ngingazi.
Ngubani ongawabala wonke ezweni
awaqede okweziqendu zenkondlo?
Ampal'omhlophe lampal'obumvu,
wonke ngamalub'omhlaba
ahluma eziswini zamanina awo.
Pho wonke angatholakala ngadi yinye na
wona usabalele umhlaba?
Hatshi awomhlaba kawapheli
lobuhl'abupheli lokuhl'akupheli,
kuphela inhliziyo lamehlo.
Bengithi ngibaqedile
kanti ngisiqedile isikhathi.
DEDICATION OF APPRECIATION
MODERN WOMAN
A woman of style and fashion
Of beauty and ambition
Of great passion and self-expression.
She's bold in speech and to preach,
She's never doubts herself saying she can't.
She's dainty and in dressing elegant;
Fragrant,she's a stylish woman
even though she's not an English woman.
Through hard work you can distinguish
Her,she's not rubbish picked up on the street
and thrown onto the back seat.
She's a smart woman;competent and confident
and hard to diminish.
She's a tree which holds many branches,
branches of family and oneness
Even if the axe relentlessly continues in coldness
to bring her down.
She's a mother of the world,a fighter,a lover;
Why would i look at her
and fail to pass my admiration of her?
PASSIONS
S-Y-M-P-A-T-H-I-E-S
Tears of the woman's eyes
Fall, like burdened raindrops from the sky
longing to fall on the earth's ground,
On my own eyes.
For her nervous i feel
When nervous she gets; envious eyes
piercing her body and when the eyeballs
Of the world rub on hers awaking the fears
She has of herself
And self-doubts.
Thoughts unite me with her, conquering absence
in the physical with mental presence;
Without an instance of resistance
but showering passions.
Hopes of two in one head lie; hopes
of companionship, of connection, of togetherness
and of onetoone closeness.
In thoughts we meet at any time
and depart with time; oh she's like a window,
She gives me light.

We'll meet ahead
GOODBYE
Although you won't wave back
With your now-resting tired hand
Or say "goodbye" back with a smile
On your face which forever smiled.
Only a few days back you were here
Walking with us,
Not walking-away from us.
We all live to-one-day leave all,
Where you have gone
We'll all follow sooner or later.
The path you walked
Cleared the way for us who follow.
We'll continue walking
Although no more can you walk with us,
So Goodbye though a big suprise
Is the news that you're already gone.
Remember us where you have gone
We'll remember the good you've done.
You won wise man,
But now we have lost you.
(Tribute to Ndebele author and poet,
B.D Ndlovu).
You're beautiful
WAIT FOR ME
To grow-up and be yours
I wont delay Please don't go.
Wait for me lady lady
I won't be late
To grow-up and show up for you.
Before it be late
Before the sun can set
And fall into West pit,
I will be falling for your good traps woman.
My eyes will burst open.
And my love deepen,
My hands will get big enough
To carry-out your heart's wishes.
Wait for me like dawn coming
In the morning for I'm not too far
So as not to see you
When walking behind your back.
As spring's coming waits
For winter's ending,
Wait for me I'm coming
I won't be late for you to regret waiting.
Easy it is for a young man
To be a man than for a grown man
To grow up to be a man,
Wait for me I'll be your man.
Will you stay where you are
And wait for me,
Or you'll move
And be gone with moving time?
